Fifteen years ago if I'd uttered the following I would have been arrested, "I'm following the Prime Minister!"  Today it is automatically, and correctly in my case, assumed that we are referring to social media.  How times change.

You're possibly asking yourself, "why 'ferny nook'?"  I can only reply that I like the ferny nooks one often finds in deciduous forests, they are places to stop and think for a while.
